As a reunion of sorts, the legendary Public Enemy has released their fifteenth(!) studio album What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down? through their original label, Def Jam. The album marks their first project released via the label since 1998’s He Got Game soundtrack.

A 17-song drop, the album is anchored by the singles “State of the Union (STFU)” and their 2020 update of their classic song “Fight the Power.” The likes of Nas, Rapsody, Black Thought, YG, Questlove, Ice-T, George Clinton, Mike D and Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill and several others appear throughout.
