Raiche first garnered a favorable amount of attention with the release of her 2019 project Drive. After additional research on the young R&B singer, I was surprised to learn she was a fellow New Englander. Nonetheless, after the success of Drive, Raiche prepares the next chapter of her career with a new single.
Arriving with “Funeral,” the Massachusetts singer offers a satisfying single to follow up her previous release, “Pick A Side.” Bringing a bit more aggression to bat this time around, Raiche’s new single voices the frustrations that arise with a unfaithful partner. Calling it quits for the relationship, she says he and their love are dead to her now.
