Price (Audio Push) Drops ‘CLRD’ EP

Price, alongside his partner Oktane as Audio Push, have been responsible for a myriad of West Coast-based slappers throughout his career (“Shine” is still, by far, my favorite song from the pair). The musician has now released his solo debut project, CLRD.

CLRD is a celebration of Black joy in a time of unrest and actually is a project I began recording before the pandemic,” he describes. “From our music to our food, families and homies, I’m telling a story that will give my people something to be inspired by during these times where we can be killed by the police or even choked and killed by each other. CLRD is celebrating the everyday things that allow us to persevere, survive and thrive despite adversity. “

An eight-track release, the project is led by the singles “Mufasa” and “Maya.” Largely self-produced (with some contributions from Boi-1da, Nico Segal, K. Roosevelt, Coryayo and Camper), CLRD also features the likes of Kota the Friend, G Perico, Tone Stith, Alayah Simone, Camper, and Candice Boyd throughout. Stream the project in its entirety, below.
