For the 3% of people actually willing to go to the movies in a whole pandemic (shame on you, for starters), the film True To The Game 2 hit theaters on November 6. An adaptation of the 2007 novel by Teri Woods, the movie stars a lot of familiar faces: Vivica A. Fox, Jeremy Meeks, Lil Mama, Rotimi, Tamar Braxton, Faith Evans, Waka Flocka, and Bernice Burgos.
Before the jokes from you, dear reader, begin to fly, the film was actually the top-grossing independent film in its opening weekend according to PR Newswire. An accompanying soundtrack will follow suit, featuring the focus track “Guillotine” by producer Wheezy, and featuring Future and Yo Gotti.
