Fresh off singles with Curren$y and Kevin Gates, Mark Battles returns with a new single this time alongside Dreamville’s Cozz. The single, which entitled “Try,” finds both rappers pushing forth their own message of hope to listeners.
“’Try’ was one of those songs that just flowed out of me,” Mark said about the single. “I felt like I had to speak up for the ones who aren’t spoken for.” He added. “I wanted to let them know that it’s ok to feel defeated at times but it’s important that no matter what you never stop trying.”
