A Day in the Life: Rowdy Rebel’s First Day Out

blame it on Meka December 21, 2020

Despite the general suckiness that was 2020, there were some things that made hip hop fans smile throughout this cursed year. One of which was when Chad Marshall — better known as Rowdy Rebel — was released from prison after spending six years incarcerated.

Two Bees TV was fortunate enough to follow Rowdy on his first 24 hours outside, chronicling the experience in this “A Day in the Life”-styled mini. Alongside getting formally cleaned up and reuniting with friends and family, Rowdy also headed back to the studio for the first time in many moons (his last appearance on wax, with Pop Smoke on “Make It Rain,” had the rapper recording his verse over a prison phone), speaking to the likes of Tay Keith, Lil Durk, and Fivio Foreign to set up collaborations with them.
