Drake Just Dropped ‘Scary Hours 2’ with Three New Songs

Back in January, Drake was to have dropped his sixth album Certified Lover Boy. However, another ACL injury — and its subsequent rehabilitation — forced the musician to push the project back to another date (which, at the time of this article, he has not announced yet).

However, he has kept busy collaborating with the likes of Drakeo The Ruler, Yung Bleu, and DJ Khaled. He and his OVO team have also launched Sound 42, their own channel, on Sirius XM (moving the original incarnation, OVO Sound Radio, from its longtime home on Beats 1/Apple Music). And fortunately for his fans, Drake has decided to offer them something to hold them over until then: a second volume of his Scary Hours series.

Scary Hours 2 is the sequel to the 2018 EP that preceded his last album Scorpion. Scary Hours also contained the hit single “God’s Plan,” which ultimately landed on Scorpion. A three-song pack, Lil Baby and Rick Ross are featured on the rap-heavy release.
