Pop Smoke Shares “AP” Video

Essentially one of the most successful hip hop albums of the past year, Pop Smoke‘s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon has spent the past 18 weeks atop Billboard’s Top Hip-Hop/R&B Albums chart. That puts the fallen rapper in the same company with both the late Prince and late Michael Jackson; the album is currently tied with Jackson’s 1987 album Bad for total weeks atop the chart, and — should this trend continue — will tie Prince’s Purple Rain next week.

To celebrate the accomplishment, as well as the rapper making his film debut in the Eddie Huang-directed Boogie, his estate has released a video for “AP” which is taken from the movie’s soundtrack. The video, which is compiled of both footage from Pop Smoke’s concerts and clips of the film, can be seen below.
