Author of one of the DopeHouse’s favorite projects of 2020, No Love Lost, West Coast rising talent BLXST has released a visual for his Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga-guested track “Chosen.”
Directed by madebyJames., the video culls inspiration from Black college films such as School Daze, Stomp the Yard, and Love & Basketball. Well, the fun parts at least: tailgating, cheerleaders, football games, and frat house parties. Not the “we can barely afford to eat because tuition is ridiculously high” part. But that’s just my inner curmudgeon coming out.
