Freddie Gibbs Flips Vintage Nas On “Big Boss Rabbit”

blame it on Shake April 2, 2021

Although he didn’t win a Grammy for his Alfredo album with Alchemist, Freddie Gibbs should keep his head up high. Not only is the project considered one of the best of the year, he lost to Nas – an absolute legend, who finally took home his first trophy after nearly 30 years in the game.

Keeping things in motion, Gangsta Gibbs has plenty on deck. And tonight, the product of Gary, Indiana is right back in the driver’s seat with his new track (that just so happens to flip the same “Sugar Man” sample Large Professor did on Nas’ “You’re Da Man”), “Big Boss Rabbit.”

Gibbs recently said “raps better when he’s mad,” so to be honest, we’re quite stoked that he seems a little ticked off at the moment. This sh*t goes.
