The continuous years of Isaiah Rashad missing in action (at least when it comes to releasing music) have finally come to an end. The TDE rapper is back with a new song today and it features an up-and-coming rapper from his home state. Rashad and our guy Duke Deuce team up for “Lay Wit Ya,” a track that hits with the bass of “A Lot” and rides with the wooziness of “AA” as it flips a classic Three 6 Mafia cut, “Ridin’ In Da Chevy.”
Along with the track comes confirmation that his long-awaited album, The House Is Burning, will finally be released in June. The news arrived through a profile with The FADER, which Rashad detailed the last five years of his life that involve struggles with drug addiction, depression, a rehab stint, and even going broke.
