The cover star of the magazine’s 2021 Body Issue, A$AP Rocky opens up to GQ Magazine on a variety of topics.
Perhaps the most notable — save for the Rihanna stuff — was Rocky speaking for the first time about the incident that resulted in his arrest and monthlong incarceration inside of a Swedish jail back in 2019. “Even though [the television’s news] was in Swedish, I heard ‘President Donald Trump’ and ‘A$AP Rocky,’ and I woke up out of my sleep,” he recalls. “I was like, ‘Oh, f*ck!’”
While revealing that he actually did not help him get freed, Rocky would eventually, and privately, show his gratitude to the Cheeto Man “amid fears that he’d be punished due to Trump’s ham-fisted Twitter diplomacy.”
Rocky also confirmed what everybody has known at this point: that he is in fact dating his longtime friend Rihanna.
“The love of my life,” he calls her. “My lady.
“So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. “I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
