With the summer heat creeping in and the restrictions beginning to fall by the wayside, “outside” is becoming more of a reality with each passing day and the City Girls are looking to capitalize with their new single, “Twerkulator.”
Originally planned to be included on last year’s City On Lock album, Yung Miami and JT were unable to clear the “Planet Rock” sample from Afrika Bambaataa and The Soulsonic Force. But after a leaked version went viral on TikTok, money apparently talked and Quality Control and Capitol Records were able to get the job done.
