As expected, J. Cole took the top spot of the Billboard 200 with his first-week sales of The Off Season selling 282,000 album-equivalent units. His sixth consecutive number-one album in the country, Cole keeps the momentum going with a visual for the album’s fourth track “applying pressure.”
Directed by Scott Lazer, the video features Cole in a rather jovial mood throughout New York in the winter, rapping his head off throughout the distinct locales of the city: the train, a rooftop, a basketball court, and the like. Imagine walking through the city one night, just minding your business, and you randomly see J. Cole awkwardly dancing like nobody’s watching.
