Pop Smoke’s Second Posthumous Album, ‘FAITH,’ Has Been Released

blame it on Meka July 16, 2021

A little over a year after his tragic passing, and Pop Smoke is by far one of the most popular rappers in Brooklyn currently.

(Don’t do that. I know about him. And him. And him.)

His posthumous debut album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, has been the highest-selling hip hop album throughout its calendar year, with seven million sales and counting. Now, his estate and record label has come together to release the rapper’s second effort, FAITH.

A 20-song effort, the album eschewed any pre-release singles (outside of the outro record, now titled “Merci Beaucoup“). Similar to its predecessor FAITH is a guest-heavy affair with the likes of Pharrell, Kanye West, Pusha-T, Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, Takeoff, Future, Chris Brown, Swae Lee, Quavo, pop star Dua Lipa, 21 Savage, 42 Dugg, and the kitchen sink, making appearances throughout.
