RIMON Sheds ‘Digital Tears’ in This Modern World on New EP

blame it on Shake September 9, 2021

After making her DopeHouse debut in 2020, RIMON is back.

With I Shine, U Shine still in rotation, the Eritrea-born, Amsterdam raised songstress returns with Digital Tears, a new project that dives into the dynamics between humans and technology while reflecting on the difficulties we all share navigating our way through this complex modern world.

“We started this exactly one year ago and it’s been such an intense ride,” RIMON says. “Doubting myself so many days, for me to think it’s genius on other days, there were no in-betweens but I’m so proud. This project wouldn’t be here without Samuel Kareem, who produced it all and is an actual genius, we’re really doing this together and every time he takes it to the next level.”

Featuring a lone appearance from Olu of EarthGang, the six-track release can be heard below. Press play and be sure to add Digital Tears wherever you get music.
