Congrats are in order for BJ The Chicago Kid, as he picked up his seventh(!) GRAMMY nomination for his rendition of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home To Me” alongside PJ Morton, Kenyon Dixon, and Charlie Bereal in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category.
To celebrate, as well as cap off a year which included his Three and 4AM EPs, and collaborations with the likes of Vic Mensa, Skyzoo, and Lucky Daye, he shares his final weekly offering of 2021: “Snowflakes.” Detailing the longing for a relationship that has come to an end, BJ reflects on a past relationship that once had much promise but dissolved too soon.
