Stick ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection’ Directly Into My Bloodstream

This just screamed at mine and Shake’s inner child.

Recently Sony held their annual State of Play event where, among the many games announced, Konami announced that several classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be compiled in one massive compilation. Titled The Cowabunga Collection, the compilation will consist of:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

What’s even better? Some of the games (namely, the OG arcade game, Turtles In Time, and one of the Tournament Fighters) will feature online play. So, literally, people have the opportunity to relive their childhood arcade days with four-player co-op (I got dibs on Michaelangelo!).

Prior to this, a brand-new arcade-style game called Shredder’s Revenge was announced, also with a release date for sometime in 2022.

Pre-orders across all platforms went live today. See you online.
