Meet Big Cheeko, an Atlanta artist making his DopeHouse debut with the release of his debut album, Block Barry White.
Executive produced by Mach-Hommy, the album is a smoked-out piece of art with authentic rhymes over slow-burning, soul-influenced production by producer Matic Lee.
“It’s great working with an artist who appreciates the actual music as much as you do,” Cheeko explains. “Mach is a genius in his own right. I think the sonic texture of the album [provided by Matic Lee] is the cut of cloth that the game is missing right now.”
An 11-track effort, the album is equipped with features from Mach-Hommy (x2), Smoke DZA, Styles P, Devin the Dude (“Watchin”), and Stag O Lee.
