Initially a focus single for Fivio Foreign’s forthcoming album B.I.B.L.E., Alicia Keys releases a sequel to the “City Of Gods.”
Originally guesting both Keys and Kanye West, “Part II” removes all elements of its predecessor’s Brooklyn drill sound and reimagines the track as a piano-driven ode to NYC. This song is very similar to when Alicia remade her and JAY-Z’s”Empire State of Mind” as a ballad.
A matching visual, which features a cameo from living legend Slick Rick, has also been released. Hear “City Of Gods (Part II)” below.
