This Friday (April 22), Pusha T will release his anticipated album It’s Almost Dry. His first album since 2018’s DAYTONA, and fourth overall studio album, King Push has now revealed project’s tracklisting.
Led by the singles “Neck & Wrist” and “DIET COKE,” the album will be produced in its entirety by Pharrell and Ye (Kanye West). Meanwhile, the likes of JAY-Z, Pharrell, Ye, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, and another Clipse reunion (looks like Pusha’s brother is dropping the “No” from Malice) will feature throughout.
“I had the best of both worlds in regards to production and in regards to two people that actually understand who I am and they like two different things from me that I feel are both really great,” Pusha said about the project to Charlamagne Tha God. “this body of work is untouchable because it doesn’t lean too heavy on either side…you get the whole spectrum. It’s my most well-rounded body of work.”
There is a bit of controversy, however. Cudi took to Twitter to properly explain his appearance on “Rock N Roll” with Ye, whom he (at the time of this post) has issues with.
“Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got with Pusha,” he begins. “I did this song a year ago when I was still cool with Kanye. I am not cool with that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz that’s my guy. This is the last song you will hear me on with Kanye.”
