Blxst is back in his bag.

Fresh off an appearance on The Tonight Show backing Buddy during the performance of their “Wait Too Long” collaboration, Blxst is back at the DopeHouse with the release of his highly-anticipated sophomore project, Before You Go.

“I’m excited for this because I experienced a lot more and been on the road, so I might have a lot more to talk about,” the South Central native told hhdx. “My perspective is shifted just as an artist and as a man overall. So I’m excited to see the response to my message on this project.”

“I wanted to highlight moreso the successful perspective,” he continued. “I mean, career perspective outside of just the relationship because I think that’s what I left out on No Love Lost. That was the introduction towards what I want to talk about. No Love Lost, but I got to go on this journey. And before I go on this journey, these are the topics that I’m leaning towards: the CEO role, the executive role, managing being away from home, managing a family.

“I look at Before You Go as a note to self, more than anything. Taking certain traits from my past with me or leaving certain traits behind. Before You Go… this is the message in the album and certain songs that speak on different topics, whether it be to myself, my partner or success.”

Equipped with 13 tracks, led by “Sometimes” with TDE’s Zacari, the album has additional features from Rick Ross, Arin Ray, and Grandmaster Vic.
