Wale’s ‘More About Nothing’ Mixtape Debuts On Streaming Platforms

blame it on Meka April 29, 2022

This new wave of musicians putting their old mixtapes from the twenty-tens onto the DSPs? Not mad at it.

Pac Div (with Church League Champions), Wiz Khalifa (with Taylor Allderdice), Mac Miller (with Faces) and Big K.R.I.T. (virtually all of them) are among the many projects to make their debuts on the streaming platforms in the past few years. Now Wale has followed suit, sharing his 2010 mixtape More About Nothing to the streaming platforms for its very first time.

The sequel to his 2008 project The Mixtape About Nothing, and precursor to 2015’s The Album About Nothing, the 17-track project remains in its original format as Wale would reveal that Jerry Seinfeld was instrumental in getting many of the samples used throughout cleared. With features from Wiz, Kevin Durant, Tré, Black CObain, Fat Trel, and others, the project can be heard below.
