This time, the Dreamville talent joins EGOT winner John Legend on his first single in a few moons, “Dope.”
Produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and Ryan Tedder, and written by Legend, Tedder, and Charlie Puth, “Dope” is the first single off Legend’s forthcoming eighth studio album (or seventh, if you don’t include his 2018 holiday album A Legendary Christmas) and follow-up to 2020’s Grammy-winning Bigger Love.
Legend initially released a Christian Breslauer-directed video for the single on Facebook, but now it’s available for the rest of the world to view.
