blame it on Meka June 16, 2022

Here’s a project I’ve been particularly waiting on.

OverDoz. — aka, one of my favorite LA groups (hopefully they come back?) — alum Kent Jamz has stepped out on his own, releasing of his debut solo album Fan Club. “To my fans, thank you for being patient with me, I love you all,” Kent said in a message on Instagram. “To my friends and team, thank you for helping me and working with me to finish this album despite me constantly changing my mind lol. And to my family, my fanclub…”’ain’t this a trip?!’”

A 12-song release, the project is led by the singles “Rollin’ Wit The Homies” and “All The Smoce.” The likes of Buddy, Ferg, and GoodJoon are featured throughout, while production is handled by Ricci Riera, LIKE, Quis Afi, Iman Omari, THC, and MIKE & KEYS. Kent has also shared a visual for “Or Not” featuring Ferg.
