CMG CEO Yo Gotti has, over the past few years, been quietly putting together one of the strongest rosters in hip hop, with nearly all of his artists — Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy, and Blac Youngsta in particular — experiencing varying degrees of success throughout their careers. Gotti even, recently, signed buzzing Memphis native GloRilla primarily off the strength of her hugely popular single “FNF (Let’s Go).”
So, it makes sense that CMG The Label is readying their forthcoming compilation project, slated to arrive on July 15th.
To get their fans ready, the crew have released “Steppas” featuring Gotti, Moneybagg, Dugg, EST, Mozzy, and Youngsta. On the lowest of keys, Gotti’s roster is pretty loaded and should not be slept on or ignored.
Last week, Mozzy and EST Gee also linked up for a joint called “Lurkin,” which was released with a matching video.
