Gearing up for the release of their forthcoming LP, It’s A Lot Going On, The Homies — which consists of Private Garden members Quiiso, Shloob, Ace Pro, and producer 2forwOyNE (and, on occasion, Jack Harlow, and 2forwOyNE has multiple production credits on Jack’s Come Home The Kids Miss You) — share their single “Thirsty.”
The track, produced by 2forwOyNE, incorporates samples from Drake’s “Houstatlantavegas” and Missy Elliott’s “Ching-A-Ling.” Meanwhile, you can clearly hear where a portion of Jack’s own sound is inspired (that is not a negative criticism at all; it’s just one of those “oh snap!” moments to me). You’ll see what I mean, though.
