I’m not a fan of golf, haven’t sat down to watch any of the games on television, and I can’t tell you the last time I went to a putt-putt course. However, ScHoolboy Q is the complete opposite of me, and that’s why he — alongside WWE Superstar The Miz, actors Andy Garcia and Christopher “Shooter McGavin” McDonald, Peter Rosenberg, and others — is in the latest advert for PGA Tour 2K23 — with Tiger Woods — and I’m just happy to be here.
Woods also happens to be one of the game’s Executive Director advising the game development team, after (re-)joining the franchise earlier in 2022 (his last appearance was for 2013’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14).
“It’s not only great to be back on the cover of a video game, but the Executive Director role makes this a truly unique opportunity,” said Woods. “2K is the perfect partner for me and I am excited to continue impacting the game and culture of golf beyond my play on the PGA TOUR.”
Versions of PGA Tour 2K23 will be available beginning October 11.
