Takeoff Of Migos Passes Away

blame it on Meka November 1, 2022

This is just ridiculous, at this point.

Kirshnik Khari Ball, better known as Migos member Takeoff, passed way in the early hours of November 1st after being shot in a Texas bowling alley. Takeoff was allegedly nearby a dice game Quavo was playing when an altercation that broke out led to gunshots being fired, in which Takeoff and two other people were hit.

While the Houston Police did not name Takeoff as a victim, they did confirm on their Twitter page that a shooting had taken place. “We are not releasing an identity of the deceased victim until his family is notified & ID verified by Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences,” they added.

Update, 3:40pm: Takeoff’s team confirmed to the Associated Press that he did, in fact, pass away.

One-third and the youngest member of the Migos, with Quavo and Offset, Takeoff was known for his quiet and enigmatic demeanor, a stark contrast to the more bombastic personalities of his family members. In 2018 he released his solo project, The Last Rocket, and his last work was his joint LP with Quavo Only Built for Infinity Links as the duo Unc & Phew.

Rest in paradise.
