DopeHouse mainstays, and Kooley High members, Charlie Smarts and DJ Ill Digitz have released joint project CHARLIETAPE.
“Thank y’all so much. Working on this project has been a thrill for us,” the pair say about the forthcoming drop. “So many friends and amazing artists have been welcomed into the fold. We wanted to rep for NYC and NC, and make a classic east coast Hip Hop JAM.”
A 19-track offering, Charlie and Digitz call upon the talents of 9th Wonder, Skyzoo, Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan), Tab-One, and others to feature throughout. The project is led by the singles “Air Max 95,” “Mezzanine,” and “Haters Anonymous.”
