I’m very happy to see how active Lloyd Banks has been recently, after nearly a decade away from music; the trilogy of his well-received COTI series would end that lengthy hiatus, and he’s joined the likes of Conway The Machine, Ransom, Dave East, and several others in between each drop.
The PLK has restarted another acclaimed series, Halloween Havoc, with the fourth volume (and first since 2016) dubbed The 72nd Hr. A 15-track offering, the likes of Vado and Sy Ari Da Kid join him throughout. Halloween might be over, but that shouldn’t stop you from bumping this throughout the rest of 2023.
