One of UK-born hip hop’s most popular musicians of all time. Skepta has returned with his first single of the year “Gas Me Up [Diligent].”
Produced by Cardo (is it Cardo, or Cardo Got Wings? I get confused in this old age), this track also serves as the first focus track from Skepta’s forthcoming sixth album (and first since Ignorance Is Bliss in 2019) Knife and Fork. “Gas Me Up [Diligent]” can also be heard in the credits of Skepta’s debut film, Tribal Mark, which was released on on January 24.
A visual for the song, co-directed by Skepta and Stevo1k, was also released.
