One of the better releases of 2023 came courtesy of BLK ODYSSY and his DIAMONDS & FREAKS project. He’s finally returned with his first drop of 2024, “WANT YOU.”
“I’ve never felt more liberated as an artist than I do now,” BLK ODYSSY says about the track. “This next collection of songs demonstrates that hip-hop and R&B artists don’t need to be confined by the status quo and norms. Music is a feeling, and this is simply what provoked emotion in me at the time.”
BLK initially debuted the track during his NPR Tiny Desk Concert, which alongside the song can be viewed below.
