At the top of 2023 Skyzoo and The Other Guys teamed up for The Mind Of A Saint, a concept album depicting the innermost thoughts of one Franklin Saint, the lead character in the hit FX show, Snowall, which follows the infancy stage of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles in the early ’80s. The album released shortly before the show’s sixth and final season, in which — to put it lightly — everything fell apart for Franklin, and he lost everything.
After the series wrapped, Skyzoo and The Other Guys went back into the studio to — to paraphrase the words of one Cody Rhodes — finish Franklin’s story accordingly, and this deluxe edition of The Mind Of A Saint is the end result. Seven new tracks have been added to the original release, which — like the show — gets darker and more hopeless before its somber ending.
