Big Sean is preparing his next run.
It’s been over three years since Big Sean released an album (2020’s Detroit 2), but the gifted rapper is officially back in action.
Yesterday, Sean popped up on our timelines with a new verse over a J Dilla flip (by Boi-1da, Leon Thomas, and Jahaan Sweet) where he wasted no time getting to the point with lines like, “I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency/ I just haven’t had the energy to compete with my enemies or your so-called Bigger 3” (J. Cole, Kendrick, and Drake), before “talking to the old Sean” and running through the early days of his musical journey.
Now, with an LP surely on deck, Big Sean kicks things off with a new song called “Precision,” which is now available on all DSPs.
