At this point, everyone and their moms is either sharing their opinion or being asked about Big Sean’s “Control” that leaked the other night with Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica riding shotgun. And instead of flooding the site with separate posts, we’re gonna try and piece together groups at a time. Up first, Just Blaze (above), Guru, 9th Wonder, El-P and Killer Mike weigh in, all offering valid points. From Blaze saying the battle-like responses are an “overreaction” to Guru guessing that sub-par NY emcees are gonna rush theirs out and El-P and Killer Mike simply saying it’s how it’s supposed to be (rappers going for each other’s necks when they rhyme).
