During tonight’s American Music Awards, Kendrick Lamar — who was beat out by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for Rap/Hip-Hop “Album of the Year” — took the stage to perform his good kid, m.A.A.d city singles “Swimming Pools” and “Poetic Justice.” Drake, who is currently in San Diego for his “Would You Like A Tour?,” obviously didn’t perform his portion of “Poetic Justice.” But let’s be honest… if he were there, do you think he would’ve shared the stage with Kendrick? Doubtful.
Instead, the spotlight was put on TDE’s recent signee SZA. Catch the performance below.
