Back on March 9th, as the world celebrated the life of The Notorious B.I.G., DJ and Brooklyn Nets music curator J.Period and Cornerstone’s 1200Squad joined forces to release #March9thRevisited, the third and final installment in J.Period’s award-winning B.I.G. remix series. Included on the mix — which featured a collection of remixes over new and classic instrumentals from JAY Z, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Cam’ron, Nas and others — was “Spread Love (Cool Out Remix).” A mash-up that features Biggie’s vocals laid over a lightly touched up version of the Isley Brothers’ “For The Love of You.” Check it out below.
