With their new album, Down By The Trinity, out now, Dorian, JayHawk and Mel let loose a track that was left on the album’s cutting room floor, “Mac 90.” The song is, in their words, inspired by Jimi Hendrix’s “Machine Gun” but also draws inspiration from both Public Enemy and The Outfit, TX‘ own “Cooly Fooly Space-Age Funk” sound. It’s dark, melodic, and fits right in with the group’s sound. Listen below.
