In February, Young Thug revealed the official artwork for the third installment in his Slime Season mixtape series, which was (originally) scrapped in favor of I’m Up.
The same day the artwork was unveiled, Thugger threw out a vague tweet which many believed to be the official release date for SS3. Of course, that day came and went with absolutely no details on the upcoming mixtape.
Until last night, where, during SXSW, it was revealed that the project is slated for release this Friday, March 25th. Strangely enough (sort of), the unveiling came during a “funeral procession,” complete with a marching band and pallbearers carrying a Young Thug casket adorned with SS3, “YSL” — and the project’s release date — in graffiti.
Check it out below.
