Stream Elijah Blake’s ‘Audiology’ Project

blame it on JES7 August 26, 2017

Before officially breaking out as a solo, mainstream artist, Elijah Blake helped pen Usher‘s 2012 hit single, “Climax” (under the alias Redd Stylez), in addition to writing music for Trey Songz, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole and Common using the pen name Sean Fenton.

As with most songwriters, breaking out into their own respective careers usually comes naturally (see Bruno Mars, who co-wrote Cee-Lo Green‘s infamous hit, “F*ck You.”) Throughout the years, we’ve seen Elijah’s growth as a musician, from his 2015 debut Shadows & Diamonds to last year’s Blueberry Vapors mixtape.

Now, after releasing the singles “Stingy” and “Technicolor x Xana White,” the Dominican-born singer is proud to present his scientific approach to Audiology.

The 14-track project runs the gamut of 90s-inspired R&B/neo-soul (“Occupied”) to more dance-themed songs like “Dopeamine” and the previous “Technicolor.”
