In a matter of months, Lucky Daye has propelled himself to being one of today’s most promising R&B acts. Led by the soulful spirit of his New Orleans roots and the confidence of his current LA life, Lucky has continued to impress time and time again.
After two EPs, I and II, Lucky steps out onto the scene with his debut album, Painted. While you may have anticipated brand new music, the album is a combination of I and II, with the addition of the previously-released “Love You Too Much” and three new songs.
If you’re new to the Lucky Daye experience, you will ending up loving this album, but if you’re a day one fan, you’ll just have to sit tight and enjoy the three new joints – my favorite being “Floods.”
