The search is over, ODIE is back!
After dropping his Analogue album in 2018 (which ended up being one of the better projects of the year), the Nigerian artist went on a seven month hiatus before resurfacing with “No Signs.” Now, after another lengthy absence, he’s back again with the release of a new single, “Slowly.”
“Last year I found myself caught in an internal war,” ODIE says. “For the longest time I did not realize that I fell out of love with myself and my art. To remedy I found myself lost in experiences. When I started working again it was for the wrong reasons. The material, although good, didn’t sound like me. But how could it if I didn’t even know my self for sure. Fast forward a few months, I’m back to being me and doing what I do best.”
