Wale had a relatively busy release week for his new album, The Album About Nothing. After performing with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, he threw a surprise release party where he surprised the crowd by having J. Cole and Meek Mill as guests.
Wale also had a lengthy sit-down with MTV, where he divulged on a variety of deeply personal topics. From his struggles with the very industry he works in, to his camaraderie with Jerry Seinfeld, to having to deal with the loss of his unborn child, viewers get to see a side of Wale that not too many people have seen before.
