DJ Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia’s impact on hip hop culture is something that reverberates throughout the culture today, and with their new film Radio That Changed Lives their legacy is detailed in-depth. The duo recently stopped by the podcast home of Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds – collectively known as Juan Epstein – for a brief sit-down, and it evolved into a lengthy interview (the entire thing comes in at a bit under two hours) where the two talk about everything. Some of the highlights include Stretch’s time working with both Lil Kim and the Notorious B.I.G. and a revelation about Capone-N-Noreaga’s “L.A., L.A.” This is something that fans of vintage hip hop culture should definitely check out.
