I’m at a loss for words, man.
After delivering the 9th Wonder-produced “The Season/Carry Me” this weekend on Dr. Dre’s The Pharmacy, Anderson .Paak drops another ditty wth “Am I Wrong” featuring ScHoolBoy Q.
You expect people to miss sometimes, but Anderson .Paak is having his Kobe-scoring-81 moment right now. Dating back to his Venice LP, he’s been doing nothing but swishing jumpers with three Toronto Raptors in his face from “Switch-Up” to “Green Light” to his work with Blended Babies to “Suede” to Compton. With POMO playing point on “Am I Wrong” giving the Cali singer infectious, bouncy production, .Paak navigates the night with a woman he’s entranced with. While ScHoolBoy didn’t come with the quick bars I was expecting once I hit play, he’s a nice addition and switch-up to the dance vibes.
With the influx of .Paak the last couple days, I’ve got to assume he’s going to announce some sort of solo project. Between that and an impeding project with Knxwledge, .Paak is set to take over 2016. Listen to “Am I Wrong” below.
