Kevin Gates Is A Fool For This Over/Under Interview

blame it on Shake April 1, 2016

Since its launch in 2011, Pitchfork’s ongoing Over/Under segment has been one of my favorites. From Danny Brown’s hate for soggy cereal to Vince Staples’ take on KFC and Bill Nye the Science Guy, the interview series has birthed an outrageous number of hilarious “wtf” moments from the likes of Action Bronson, Wiz Khalifa, Ghostface Killah, Run the Jewels, and many others.

Kevin Gates is next up and the result is no different. With under five minutes on the clock, the Baton Rouge native manages to call Winnie the Pooh a drug addict, praise his “lil baby” Taylor Swift Adele, reimagine the final scene of Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio, and, best of all, sing Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, and Panic! At the Disco.

Do yourself a favor and witness the hilarity above.

Gates also revisited his ISLAH debut with a video he shot in Berlin, Germany for “Not The Only One.” Check it below.
