There’s no denying it: We all want another Lauryn Hill album. She one of the best and largest talents to come across the music world in the past couple decade. But if we get one or not, we’re just happy she’s still active in displaying her talents. (Over the last year, she’s performed “In The Night” with The Weeknd and killed a live cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good,” among other appearances.)

On Wednesday, Hill announced Diaspora Calling!, the inaugural three-day music and arts festival taking place in Brooklyn’s King’s Theater through Friday, April 15. On Friday, Ms. Hill and many other performers from cultures worldwide will take the stage at the theater to close out the festival.

Lauryn Hill described the festival in a press release:

“Diaspora Calling! is a collection of works intended to celebrate the rich tapestry of artists from the African Diaspora while also illumining persistent and irrepressible themes. Even if we work independently, we are a resounding collective voice, both reconciling and embracing our relationship to history, our origins, our future and to ourselves.”

Diaspora Calling! is hosted in association with TiDAL, and the concert will be able to be streamed on the app. Check out the full lineup below.
