Back in 2014, G-Unit’s reunion had the Hip-Hop world by the throat. After a performance at Summer Jam, the group let off a few rounds of remixes before dropping a pair of EPs — The Beauty Of Independence and The Beast Is G-Unit.

Things were looking strong for the Guerrilla Unit. Unfortunately, it didn’t last — with Kidd Kidd’s XXL Freshmen concert in Summer ’15 being one of the last times they rocked together.

A lot’s changed since 2014, too: Young Buck is locked up, Lloyd Banks is back in mixtape mode with AON: Live it Up and Halloween Havoc 3, Tony Yayo is still rapping at random, 50 Cent is still making POWER moves, and Kidd Kidd pops up every once in a while with a new freestyle or project.

In August, DJ Whoo Kid softened the okie-doke with the release of The Lost Flash Drive mixtape, which featured a collection of previously-recorded tracks from the Unit’s brief reunion.

Today, after dropping “No Commercial” two weeks back, Kidd Kidd keeps the flag waving with another loosie called “Count On My Hand.”
