Taylor Bennett, who recently came out as bisexual, released a project called Broad Shoulders at the end of 2015. He revisits the project with a 13-minute short film inspired by the stories told across the album.
Running through six songs from the tracklist, including the title track with his brother Chance the Rapper, the film tells the story of a boy and a girl in the beginning stages of a relationship choosing to get with the wrong people during a night out.
The video’s description on YouTube described the film’s plot a bit more intently:
“In Chicago, a young couple’s relationship ignites. After a night of mistakes, embarrassments, and understanding the boy must choose what is right for him and if what’s been done can be forgiven.”
